Math Playground is a good site for Math practice as is Khan Academy. Both are sign in sites.

For Friday - Write Up Due Monday ( you know what is expected as far as a 'good' write up should look like ) - Did you know that every time you played Skunk , you were testing the probability of 1s turning up?? ok ... ya ... umm ... you were.
SO.. your assignment for Friday and over the weekend is to figure out the Mathematical Probability of a 1 turning up , playing with two dice and rolling a) 1 time b) 5 times c) 10 times and to test your theories. ( Remember - You are rolling two dice)
Write out your probabilities first (above) . Test the Mathematical Probability record how many rolls occur before a one shows up in each column S K U N K.
The focus in this game is to count the rolls before a 1 turns up and to compare your results with the Mathematical Probability.
After you figure out the probability of ones turning up, play against someone who does not understand the probability and see if you can beat them by using your strategy.
You should write out the rules before you start if you're playing against someone.

It is expected that you do your assignments on the day that they are assigned please. You will not do a fantastic job if you are in a hurry just to get it done.
For Thursday April 22 - IXL Math - Check under Recommendations - should be a new assignment: H FF2

For Friday April 17
Thurs April 16 - Fun Probability - Well, it might be more fun than my trying to upload the worksheets onto Teams this time . SO, you will have to look at Teams Math to get the worksheets today. Hey.... what is that probability that of a total of 27 students, ALL of them will find the site and complete the work? I say "certain" , 27 possibilities out of 27 in total, 27/27, 100%! I have faith in you!!
Wed. April 15 - four sheets on probability are due tomorrow . This is easy peasy and a little bit fun.
April 14 Wed Assignment : Complete the first 12 Division problems on the sheet for
tomorrow . Put your work in a binder or duotang ... or somewhere so it isn't lost.

Math Review - You know this stuff because we have studied it already !!
There are lots of sites online that will help you practice what we have learned this year. Multiplication and division review is always good. Probability (dice and card games) are great , too. Playing 31 or other games that require some addition and/or subtraction would be great.
Some of these games might look too young for you, but you can easily make them more difficult. Have fun!
